The University Womens Group Interviews

With the kind permission of the University Womens Group, we have digitized  interviews which were done by them in the 1970s and 80s.  These interviews are very interesting in that they predate the PGOHG's interviews by a generation or more and describe life in Prince George as early as 1913.

The Carbutt Collection is a set of taped interviews and broadcasts by Jack Carbutt of CKPG Radio in Prince George. This collection was passed on to his friend and colleague Bob Harkins who in turn donated it to the Prince George Oral History Group. We then transcribed the tapes and the collection now resides at the U.N.B.C. Archives. (please contact us to correct misspelled names)
