Jack Corbut Collection
Bob Harkins donated a collection of taped radio
interviews and programs wich were given to him by Jack Corbutt. We were
given a matching grant from the BC2000 Millenium Arts and Heritage
fund which enabled us to hire student(s) to transcribe these
tapes. One
of the tapes in the collection was a facinating recording of Robert
Service
reading his own works, "The Shooting of Dan McGrew" and " The
Cremation
of Sam McGee"

The Pioneer Tapes
Many years ago, the Prince George University Womens Club
interviewed and recorded some of Prince Georges early citizens. These
recordings were transcribed and a limited number are archived. One of
our next projects is to digitize these transcripts and make more
copies available to the public in print form as well as here on the web
page. This project is now underway and can be accessed here
